What is inside
Inside, you get over 1,300 slots and e-tables. Table games run daily from 12 PM to 6 AM. The $5 low-limit tables open at 6 PM Thursday to Saturday and at 2 PM on Sunday. The poker room keeps shorter days: Thursday to Sunday, 12 PM to 4 AM.
For food there is The Eatery, which is 19+, and the Great Canadian Buffet, Thursday to Sunday. There is no hotel on site.
Seen from Toronto, the difference is easy to lay out. Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto, the casino inside the city at Woodbine, has 4,500+ slot machines and e-tables and 164 table games. Its poker room runs 24/7, and it has a 400-room hotel. Mohawk adds a harness track next door that races year-round, and it takes the same Great Canadian Rewards card.
The harness track next door
Woodbine Mohawk Park runs Standardbred, or harness, racing year-round, with 222 race dates approved for 2026. First post is usually 6:30 p.m. The 2026 North America Cup ran on June 13, and the Mohawk Million and Metro Pace followed on September 26.
Great Canadian Entertainment runs Elements Casino Mohawk. Don't mix up the two Woodbine names: Woodbine Racetrack, beside the Toronto casino, is a Thoroughbred track run by Woodbine Entertainment. Its 2026 season runs from April 18 to December 13.
