Kawartha Downs also owns the Player's Lounge & Café, on the slots floor and 19+. It opens Monday to Thursday 10 am to 9 pm, Friday and Saturday 10 am to 10 pm, and Sunday 10 am to 9 pm. Holiday hours should be checked on the venue's own site.
Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto at Woodbine is the casino inside the city. It shows 4,500+ slot machines and e-tables and 164 table games, open 24/7. At Shorelines, you get slots only, on the same rewards card.
Harness racing
Kawartha Downs ran 16 harness race dates in 2026, on Saturdays from June 6 to October 3. Post time was 6:00 p.m., and race admission is free. That season is over, and racing returns in 2027. Between seasons, the slots keep their daily hours of 10 am to midnight. The track itself celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022.
